Genealogical Tailings of Walsh & Heger Families

Most of this site is now complete, with the exception of the data for the German Heger families. If you are interested in this aspect, check the description and visit again later if it is relevant to you.  

I've mined for records of my ancestors many long hours over several years in the vast repositories of the LDS Family History Library in Salt Lake City. The transcriptions that have no apparent relevance to my family are like a large tailings pile from which those few valuable records of relevance to my family have come. Although these findings are of little value to me, they could certainly be useful to others who are searching for their ancestors. So, instead of throwing these tailings out, I've decided to make them available here to facilitate others in their own quests. I have taken the time and effort to do so because the study of one's family history and genealogy is important and its facilitation is worthwhile. 

My mother was a Welch (Walsh) and my father was a Hager (Heger), but ironically, the ancestors with these surnames have been the most difficult to locate of all. This difficulty led to the collection of the records that are provided here. If you have anything to add concerning these records, please send your comments to me at mailto:joseph@hager.name.
